1 Sample 1
I am going to talk about my mother who has played an essential role in my life. She is my guardian, my friend and my role model.
My mom is the most patient person in my life. She struggles a lot but never loses her temper. She’s exactly the polar opposite of me: a model of calm and cool. She can remain calm even in the most difficult and challenging situations, so being stuck in traffic, arguing with others, or dealing with a naughty kid like me never made her annoyed.
She would always be willing to listen to me, even if I was repeating the same boring stories all day long, and never yelled at me for anything. I once asked her for her secret, and she told me that: “Always remember to put yourself in their shoes and try to understand them.” I would not be who I am today without the patience my mother has given me.
Her determination, as well as her perseverance, are really something for us to look up to. And I keep reminding myself every day to be as strong as my mother, a real-life “wonder woman.”

My mother has always been the best advisor I’ve ever had. She’s been through so much that she’s prepared to deal with even the most difficult situations. She was my go-to person for everything when I was a kid. She taught me how to accept defeat and work harder, as well as how to deal with anxious thoughts and obnoxious people.
As I grew older, I learned that practically everything she said was true, and I still consult her for advice on occasion. But arguably the best piece of advice my mother ever offered me was that there is no reason to be envious of anyone: ‘If you want to be happy, don’t be envious of others.’
